A Small Update

Hey there. Things are going well.

As usual, I am juggling my thoughts, work, and the various issues that come with life. This is Blog Entry #29. Ironically, it follows many unfinished drafts on different topics that I eventually deleted.

Over the last few years, I feel like I may have left many people behind while pursuing my career goals. To all of them, I apologize. I hope to catch up with them soon. In many ways, I am still the same person. At the same time, some things have changed.

This website is a record of many of my thoughts since 2022. Some of those thoughts were thoughtful, and some were simply ramblings. Part of the reason I started this website was that I have always enjoyed writing. For me, writing is not only one of the best forms of communication but also a useful way to work through problems. When something is bothering me, I usually write it down and most often the problem gets resolved in the process.

This website became an outlet for many of those reflections. Looking back, some of them read like ramblings, while others sound like attempts at philosophy from someone trying a little too hard to be profound. Over time, I discovered something important: many of the things I strongly believe today may not be things I believe tomorrow. My opinions change as I learn more. Because of that, I have become hesitant to present personal views as lasting truths when they are really moving targets.

That realization is the main reason for this change.

The website will remain online, but I have made it unlisted. The people who already know about it will still be able to find it, as will anyone determined enough to dig through my online footprint. If you are doing the latter, I sincerely hope you eventually return to something more useful.

Although the website will stay up, I do not expect to post here very often. The person reflected in these posts is not entirely the person I am today.

Going forward, I would like to write about things that are closer to ground truth—ideas that can be communicated with as little bias and personal opinion as possible. When I have the time, energy, and resources to do that properly, I will start again with a clean slate.

Thanks for reading.

I hope we catch up soon.

Signing off,
