Attempt at Poetry 3: Hello World!

Hello World! is all I need to do
Yet it’s difficult to fill in the shoe
The CPU is hot, the fan is loud
But I’m still stuck on feeling proud
For the few lines of code that I sowed

Yet a lot of work is still pending
But I’m busy pretending
That I’m working hard
Just staring at the to-do card
Without progress in the project yard

I’m physically fine, not feeling tired
But mentally, I’m just expired
Being unproductive might be my new hobby
Just so I can skip talking to my old lobby
Every week, I plan to do something new
But I just end up covering the week’s due

This attempt at poetry is just to vent
But I know it won’t make a dent
I’ll still be the same, stuck in the game
Hoping one day, I’ll be able to tame
The chase for productivity and fame
Printing Hello World! is all I claim

Yet there’s progress on my learning curve
First principles are what I observe
The pace is slow, but it calms my nerve
I trust I’ll get what I deserve
But for now, I’ll just preserve
The wisdom that was passed in reserve

I started with expectations high
Thinking fate was on my side
Walked around with my head held high
But got too cocky, too sly
This year got shot straight from the sky
Guess it’s time to comply
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best
That’s the lesson I’ll put to the test
For the time that’s left to invest

I think I’ve covered the last few days
Hope I can finally escape this maze
I miss my allies from old ways
But I’m stuck deep in this phase
Still, I’ll find new paths to chase
To grow, to thrive, and savor this phase

Attempt at Poetry 2: Dear Time

Dear Time, Can I get time to meet you?
It seems that I have no clue,
I left my crew,
And I am feeling blue.
But still, I am chasing you.

I lost bad habits and some good friends,
I quit the internet and some trends,
I’m trying to make amends,
But still, can’t manage my spends.

No, I have enough cash to survive,
But I’m not able to thrive,
I’m missing my drive,
Is there something wrong with my life?

Don’t worry if this seems melancholy,
Why are you so sorry?
I’m just writing my story,
This is my territory,
And I’m not in a hurry.

I realize that tracking you is a pain,
Getting lost is insane.
Complaining is in vain,
There’s nothing to gain.
I have to get back to my lane,
But how do I justify my brain?
I wish I could explain,
But for now, let me refrain.

When spending you right,
I feel like a knight.
But when the situation is tight,
I lose my sight,
And I’m not able to fight.

Dear Time, Why are you so cruel?
Why can’t you be my jewel?
Every morning, I challenge you to a duel.
Every night I’m out of fuel.

I think I need to take a break,
But there’s too much at stake.
Is it a mistake?
Or is it a piece of cake?
I’m not sure what to make.

What’s the point of all this?
If you’re not with people you miss,
If you’re not doing what you wish,
But you can’t be selfish,
Since you have to fulfill your dish.

There’s so much to do,
So much that I wish to pursue,
But I’m not managing my due.
I’m not sure if any reason is true.

This is my plight,
Forgive me if I’m not polite,
I’m trying to make things right,
But I’m not sure if I’m bright.
But as always, I find myself in a fight.
